Something worthy of noting is that my friends computer was recently infected with a rogue antivirus called "Win 7 security 2012" and it was running under the name of ewh.exe in the task manager.
EXAMPLE
I got the program to stop working by first renaming the .exe to a .mp3 using Long Path Tool (then ending it's process in the task manager) causing the program to not know what the hell to do with the now non-executable program! I then proceeded to scan with The Cleaner (not many know about it) and was able to get rid of it pretty easily. Long Path Tool should be noted as being able to assist in removing malicious code as well. Just an interesting smattering of info.
